Terms of Service

The short version: LeakStop reads your Google Ads data and tells you where money is leaking. It never changes your account. Our findings are analysis, not guarantees — every decision stays yours. Cancel whenever you like.
1. Who these terms are between
These terms govern your use of leakstop.dev and app.leakstop.dev (together, "the Service"), operated by the independent developer behind LeakStop ("we", "us"). Reach a human at ops@leakstop.dev. By using the Service you accept these terms; if you don't accept them, don't use it.
2. What the Service does
- Free CSV audit. You upload a search-terms export from your own Google Ads account and receive a waste report. No login and no account access required. Uploaded files are deleted after 24 hours, or kept 30 days if you unlock the full report with your email.
- Connected-account auditing. If you connect a Google Ads account, we read it nightly and produce findings, a change-log of what automation did, and a savings ledger.
The Service is read-only. It makes no changes to your Google Ads account — no budget changes, no bid changes, no keyword changes, nothing. Every fix we suggest is carried out by you, in Google's own interface. This is described in detail on how we use the Google Ads API.
3. Your account and your responsibilities
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
- You may only connect Google Ads accounts you own or are authorized to administer. If you connect a client's account, you confirm you have their permission to share their advertising data with an auditing tool.
- You're responsible for what happens under your login, for keeping credentials safe, and for the accuracy of what you upload.
- Don't attempt to access other customers' data, probe or overload the Service, resell access, or use it to break Google's terms or any applicable law.
4. What we do not promise
Findings are analysis, not advice, and not a guarantee. Waste detection is based on statistical rules over your historical data. It can flag spend that turns out to be worthwhile, and it can miss waste entirely. The savings ledger is a deliberately conservative estimate measured against a 28-day baseline — it is an accounting of what changed, not a promise of future results, and it is not audited financial information.
- Every change to your account is your decision. We are not responsible for the outcome of acting — or not acting — on a finding. Your advertising results, conversion volume and revenue remain yours to own.
- We depend on Google. The Service reads data through the Google Ads API. If Google changes, restricts, delays or interrupts that access, features may degrade or stop, and that is outside our control.
- LeakStop is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. Google Ads is a trademark of Google LLC.
- The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows.
5. Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, in the currency shown at checkout, through our payment processor. Card details go to the processor directly and never reach our servers.
- Cancel any time, from your billing settings or by emailing us. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- Refunds: if the Service didn't work as described, email us within 14 days of a charge and we'll refund it. We'd rather refund an unhappy customer than argue.
- Plans are banded by monthly managed ad spend. If your spend moves into a different band, we'll ask you to change plan rather than silently re-rating you.
- Price changes apply from your next billing period and we'll tell you by email before they take effect.
- Taxes are your responsibility where they apply to you.
6. Your data
What we collect, why, and how long we keep it is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: your data is yours, we never sell it, we never mix one customer's account data into another's, and you can have it erased by asking. Disconnecting an account deletes its access tokens immediately.
You keep all rights to your data. You grant us only the permission needed to process it in order to provide the Service to you.
7. Availability and changes
We aim for the Service to be available and correct, but we don't offer a formal uptime guarantee. We may add, change or remove features. If we make a material change that reduces what you're paying for, we'll tell you by email in advance and you can cancel.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken — in particular for accessing accounts you aren't authorized to access, or for attacking the Service. Where circumstances allow, we'll warn you first. On termination we delete your data in line with the retention periods in the privacy policy.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost advertising performance or lost business opportunity. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms materially, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date and — if you have an account — tell you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new version.
